Invalid credentials
The details are not reaching the server. Nine times out of ten it is one wrong character or an expired account.
What it means
The app sent the username and password to the server and got a no back.
What to do
- 01Type the details again by hand, with no leading or trailing spaces.
- 02Check upper and lower case – they matter.
- 03Check the server address: http:// and the right port.
- 04Test the same details in VLC on a computer. If it works there, the problem is in the app.
- 05If nothing works, the account has most likely expired – renew it and the same details work again.
