Switching app without starting from scratch
Your favourites do not follow automatically. Here is how to prepare a move between two players.
Favourites, channel order and hidden categories live locally in the app, not in the subscription. Switching app therefore means redoing that part, even when the channels are identical.
Photograph or write down your favourites before uninstalling. It takes five minutes and saves an evening of searching. With TiviMate premium there is a built-in backup you can restore on a new device.
Install the new app before removing the old one. Then you can compare channel names side by side and spot immediately whether something is genuinely missing or has just moved to another category.
