App guides

IPTV Extreme on Android TV, Fire TV and mobile

Short answer

IPTV Extreme is a light, stable player for Android TV, Fire TV and Android phones that runs well even on older devices. Upload your list on the web using the MAC address (recommended) or type it straight into the app.

The app's own fee

The basic version is free with ads. Pro is a one-off fee in Google Play paid to the app developer, not to your provider.

  1. 1

    Install the app

Search for IPTV Extreme in Google Play or the Amazon Appstore and install it. On Fire TV you can also use Downloader if it is missing from the store.

  2. 2

    Find the MAC address

Open the app, go to Settings → About (or Device info) and note the MAC address.

  3. 3

Method A: upload on the web

Go to the official site iptvextreme.eu on a computer or phone, enter the MAC address and paste your personal list link. No typing with the remote.

  4. 4

Method B: add it in the app

Choose Playlists → Add playlist. Pick Xtream Codes and enter server URL, username and password, or pick M3U and paste the link.

  5. 5

    Add EPG

Under Settings → EPG add the EPG link and enable automatic updates to fill the TV guide.

  6. 6

    Optimise playback

Switch player under Settings → Player (e.g. Exo or VLC) if the picture stutters, and hide channel groups you do not use.

Common errors in this app

The EPG link is missing or not updated. Add it again and choose Update EPG.

Too many channel groups

Long-press a group and choose Hide to make the list quicker to browse.
