TVIP and MAG
Short answer
TVIP and MAG boxes use a portal instead of an app. The box is identified by its MAC address, printed on the underside.

No app fee. The cost is the box itself.

Connect the box
Plug in HDMI and an ethernet cable. Cable is strongly recommended for MAG boxes.

Open the system menu
Press Setup or Menu on the remote and go to Servers or Portals.

Enter the portal
Enter a portal name and the address from your provider. Never post the address publicly.

Save and reboot
Save and reboot the box. It loads the portal automatically on start-up.

Check the time
Set time zone and NTP server in the network settings so the guide lines up.
Common errors in this app
The box hangs on the loading screen
The portal address is wrong, or the box MAC is not registered with the provider.
“No link” when changing channel
The stream is temporarily down or blocked. Try another channel and reboot the box.
The picture freezes every evening
Move from a Wi‑Fi adapter to an ethernet cable and raise the buffer in settings.
