Error messages
Black screen
Sound but no picture, or just black: nearly always the decoder or an HDR setting.
What it means
The stream is playing but the picture does not reach the screen.
What to do
- 01Switch the decoder from hardware to software in the app.
- 02Turn off automatic HDR / frame rate matching in the device's display settings.
- 03Try another HDMI cable or port.
- 04Test an SD or HD version of the same channel.
